The Molecular Biotechnology Program at Sydney offers Undergraduate, Honours and Postgraduate Courses.
Students of the Molecular Biotechnology Program at Sydney receive a comprehensive education covering the fundamental science which underpins the field through to specialist areas such as genetically modified organisms, biopharmaceutics, modern diagnostic methods and technologies including biosensors, biomaterials and the use of proteomics in the development and evaluation of new drug products.
The business aspects of the field are also covered from intellectual property and good laboratory practice requirements through to considerations in forming a start-up company in biotechnology.
The program also offers an industry experience involving either a thorough evaluation of aspects of a biotechnology company through to an actual in-industry placement* with subsequent presentations.
